REFUND POLICY

Refund Policy Effective Date: April 8, 2026

At Mumbai Service, we strive to provide high-quality, reliable home appliance repair services. This Refund Policy explains our approach to refunds, cancellations, and service guarantees.

1. Service Visit / Inspection Charges

  • A service/visit charge is collected for technician dispatch and diagnosis.

  • This charge is non-refundable once the technician has visited your premises and performed the inspection, regardless of whether the repair is carried out.

  • If we are unable to send a technician due to our own scheduling issues, the visit charge (if already paid) will be fully refunded.

2. Repair Service Charges

  • Repair charges are agreed upon with the customer before work begins.

  • If a repair is attempted but the appliance cannot be fixed due to reasons beyond our control (e.g., unavailability of spare parts, irreparable damage), we will charge only the inspection/visit fee and no additional repair charge.

  • If the same fault recurs within our service warranty period (7 to 30 days as communicated at the time of service), we will re-repair the appliance at no additional labor charge.

3. Spare Parts

  • Spare parts once fitted are non-refundable unless they are found to be defective upon installation.

  • If a defective part is supplied by us and causes the repair to fail, we will replace it at no cost to you.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel your booking before the technician is dispatched at no charge.

  • If you cancel after the technician has been dispatched or arrives at your premises, the service visit charge will be applicable.

5. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are eligible for a refund based on the above conditions, please contact us within 48 hours of the service:

We will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days via the original payment method (cash, UPI, or bank transfer as applicable).

6. Exclusions

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • Customer changed their mind after the repair was completed

  • Damage caused by customer misuse, power fluctuation, or accidental damage after repair

  • Refusal to allow technician to complete the repair mid-process
